Use CM-PATRA with an AI assistant
CM-PATRA exposes four read-only tools over the Model Context Protocol (MCP), so an AI assistant can query the same reviewed dataset as this site. Nothing is written, no sign-in is needed, and every answer carries a line stating what it rests on. The results below are produced live from the dataset on this server, not typed in.
To connect Claude Desktop or any MCP client that accepts a URL, add a custom connector with this address:
https://intel.miningbridge.in/api/cmpatra/mcp
Written for Claude and other MCP clients. Connectors for Copilot, Sarvam, AIKosh or BharatGen are not built.
ChatGPT and Claude apps
The four CM-PATRA tools are part of the MiningBridge Intelligence app for ChatGPT and the MiningBridge connector for Claude, alongside the trade and supply-chain tools (new app versions are rolling out through each platform's review). Sign in with a free MiningBridge account to use them.
Custom GPT
A custom GPT can also call CM-PATRA's public, read-only endpoints without signing in. In ChatGPT, create a GPT, open Configure, choose Create new action, and import this address:
https://intel.miningbridge.in/api/cmpatra/openapi
Suggested instruction for the GPT: answer only from CM-PATRA results, say that counts for recent Indian filings are floors, and show the record link for every patent mentioned. Creating a GPT needs a paid ChatGPT account.
get_mineral_patents
Use this when the user asks about patents, inventions or processing technology for a critical mineral relevant to India: who is patenting lithium extraction, rare-earth separation, cobalt or nickel hydrometallurgy, graphite purification, battery recycling and similar. Lists reviewed patent families for one mineral, optionally filtered by processing stage and to Indian applicants only. Counts are floors for recent Indian-office filings. Do not use for patent legal status or for trade or price questions.

}get_technology_gaps
Use this when the user asks where India's critical-mineral technology gaps are, which minerals have patents but little funded R&D (or the reverse), or where R&D collaboration opportunities lie. Compares patent families with public R&D projects (Ministry of Mines S&T projects on SATYABHAMA, and JNARDDC ongoing and completed projects) for each India-list critical mineral. Mineral-level counts only, not record-level links. Omit mineral to compare all.

}track_rd_project_ip
Use this when the user asks about a specific Indian public R&D project (a SATYABHAMA SNTMOM/... number, a JNARDDC project number such as JNARDDC/S-58, or words from its title) and which patents relate to it. Returns the project's title, status, sponsor (where listed) and minerals, with rule-based candidate patents: first those that share a mineral and a waste stream or title words, then others on the same minerals. Candidates are not verified outcomes of the project.

…verify_patent_provenance
Use this when the user wants to check one patent family in CM-PATRA: why it was labelled with a mineral and processing stage, its CPC codes, applicants, filing offices and links to verify it at the source. Legal status is not held; the result links to where it can be checked.
